Paige Emery is a Los Angeles - based artist with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Laguna College of Art and Design.  She uses oil painting and printmaking to capture vulnerable moments of truth among people she cares for and identifies with.  Her expressionistic work is created with bold strokes to emphasize the rawness of ephemeral moments frozen in time as well as the touch and labor of her hands creating the work.

Being a music fanatic and musician as well, Emery ties many of her art projects with this passion by painting many people involved in her local music community.  For every painting, she makes specific playlists of songs that relate to the subject and is then further influenced by the music to depict a musical rhythm and mood in her figurative work.

Emery has shown her work at many galleries around California including Forest and Ocean Gallery in Laguna Beach and BG Gallery in Los Angeles. She has been commissioned for many works of public art in the city she lives in, such as 14 utility box murals of local bands on the streets of Los Angeles, a mural of Bernie Sanders in the Bernie Sanders Campaign Headquarters in Hollywood, and murals of musicians at the Hollywood Palladium.

Paige Emery is a strong advocate of promoting social change and has used her work for progressive activism and to raise money for charitable causes.
