Paige Emery is a Los Angeles - based artist with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Laguna College of Art and Design.  She uses oil painting and printmaking to capture vulnerable moments of truth among people she loves and meets in creative communities.   Her expressionistic work is created with bold strokes to emphasize the rawness of ephemeral moments frozen in time as well as the touch and labor of her hands creating the work.

Being a music fanatic and musician as well, Emery ties many of her art projects with this passion by painting mostly people involved in her local music community.  For every painting, she makes specific playlists of songs that relate to the subject, and is then further influenced by the music to depict a musical rhythm and mood in her figurative work.

Emery has shown her work at galleries around Orange County and Los Angeles.  Outside of the gallery world she has been commissioned for many works of public art, such as 13 utility box murals on the streets of Los Angeles, a mural of Bernie Sanders in the Bernie Sanders Campaign Headquarters in Hollywood, and murals of musicians at the Hollywood Palladium.
